We worked with Cherie Carignan at Birch Tree for design of a new master bath in our 30 year old colonial home. We had some ideas on what we wanted the finished bath to include, but did not know how much change could be worked into the space available. Cherie was able to design for us a new bathroom that feels spacious and includes many of the things we were looking for.

Cherie also handled support for the cabinets and design details, working with us on paint colors and hardware details along with the plans that were needed for our contractor, Roberto of Double R Home Improvements, to build us the perfect complement to our master bedroom.

Cherie was very prompt with replies to our questions and had several suggestions that we would not have thought of on our own. Overall, we are very pleased to have worked with Cherie and recommend her highly!

I highly recommend Birch Tree Design and Remodeling. My husband and I recently added a kitchen bar and a large pull-out kitchen drawer for recycling and trash. This project involved matching granite that had been in the kitchen for years, as well as moving some drawers and matching the wood in the cabinetry, which also had been there for years. Cherie did a fine job of coordinating and overseeing the project and providing exceptionally skillful men to do the work. We are delighted with the completed projects and enjoy our kitchen even more because of the excellence given to this project.

We built a new house and needed kitchen cabinets, counter tops, kitchen island, vanities for two bathrooms and tile, she was very helpful helping me choose these items, offering me many choices, she has a great eye for color and design! Cherie was prompt for appointments and very professional and worked tirelessly at answering all my questions, and I had a lot of them!!

My wife and I never rebuilt a home before so we were faced with lots of decisions we had no experience in making. It became overwhelming very quickly. Our builder put us in touch with Cherie from Birch Tree Design and Remodeling to help with our new kitchen. That was the start of a most pleasant experience. She listened to our ideas, made suggestions and then designed a magnificent kitchen for us. She sent us the layout and we went back and forth with new thoughts and ideas. She was extremely patient with us until the final design was our dream kitchen.

I had a dream of a built in wet bar in the adjoining eat in area which she made come to life and it tied in beautifully with the kitchen.

We also needed help on material selection and coordination of floors, countertops and backsplashes. She went with us to different suppliers helping to pick out everything. And in some cases coordinated the acquisition of the materials and scheduled the installation.

On installation days she was there first thing to make sure the installation went smoothly. Any problems that came up she addressed immediately and resolved within a matter of days. In this time of Covid that was not any easy task.

We would recommend Cherie for any kitchen project and she is available to offer assistance on just about everything else.

Our bathroom is a dream! Double sink, large vanity, and massive walk in shower! All designed and installed with great care. People see our full addition and are amazed, but walk into our bathroom and are WOWed!

Cherie helped me with a powder room remodel. From our first meeting, I was impressed with Cherie's ideas and insights, not to mention professionalism. I had some crazy ideas of what I wanted (floating vanity! cool wallpaper! LED lights!) and Cherie took those ideas and designed a bathroom that was exactly what I wanted, but better than I could have ever imagined. It is absolutely stunning!

The bathroom needed to be completed in about 8 weeks and Cherie worked feverishly to meet that deadline. She was extremely responsive and kept the project moving. Happily, the project was finished on time (actually a couple of days early!).

We were going through a basement remodel at the same time as the powder room remodel and were having a difficult time deciding where to put various walls. Cherie took one look at the space and was able to tell us exactly where the walls should go. My husband and I would never have thought of what she suggested, and it really is perfect. I would strongly recommend using Cherie for any of your design needs and I look forward to working with her again soon (master bathroom perhaps?)!
